Daily Runs

MRR have a number of varied training sessions throughout the week which aims to cater for most interests and needs. We welcome anyone to join us on our training runs or races and especially encourage newcomers of all abilities – you don’t have to be a fast runner! There may, however, be certain sessions which suit your speed/distance better than others. Please see the club’s Facebook page for information regarding which sessions are being done on a particular day. If you wish to talk to someone about club training sessions, beginners should contact Agnieszka Ogrocka or more experienced runners should contact James Shorter or Ricardo Lucas

Sunday Social

(Agnieszka Ogrocka) – 6 pm Our newly appointed Sunday Social organizer will regularly be persuading members to host runs from a location of their choice. All you have to do is find a couple of routes, say 5 km and 8 km and provide juice(s), water and fruit (and perhaps cake!) for after the run.

Monday Madness

(James Shorter & Chris smith) – 6 pm A powerful 90 minute training session involving a steady run and speed work in which our distance totals 12 km – 15 km. The speed sessions could be fartlek, a hill session or reps. Runners must be capable of running 10 km to attend and, if you are not, we recommend you coming to our Wednesday club night or Sunday Social evening instead. New members are always welcome.
